THE BRAND
HotelTonight is an online travel app that allows users to find discounted hotel accommodations throughout the Americas, Europe and Australia. Due to the last minute nature of the bookings, the app can offer deep discounts off the listed hotel rate.
THE PROJECT
Worked alongside the Growth Marketing Team to concept & execute a diverse and dynamic email program to send to our users. The goal of this program was to educate app users and encourage spontaneous travel. We sent out three emails a week highlighting cities, activities, app features, hotel features, and hotel categories.
My main role was to visually bring the email brief to life. I worked with the brand marketing team to create high performing email templates. We then tested the templates and made informed changes based on the performance. I would then design the weekly emails by curating on-brand images to create the mockups and assets needed for these templates. Then I would work with the developer to create the dynamic versions to send to our users.
